- There was alockerthat was a suitable size for my laptop and backpack, but my luggage was too big to fit inside at the same time.
- Padlocks are availableat the reception for areasonable price.

- Thecleanliness and comfortof the two shared bathrooms in our living quarters weremediocre.

- Mypillow was dirty, and I had to replace it, but I'm sure it was anisolated incidentbecause the hygiene standards at the hostel were excellent overall.

Regarding pricing, Wombat's is considered pricier than other options in Budapest, with bunk bedsstarting at 17€/nightin the off-season and private rooms from 65€/night.
While itsprime locationis a major selling point, the hostel's offerings might not entirely justify the above-average prices for some guests.
The other downside at Wombat's, other than the higher price point, is the rather mundane quality of some facilities. The bathrooms, for instance, while clean, are just ordinary.
However,the quality of the guests was a definite highlight, and the opportunity to meet and party with interesting travelers from around the globe more than made up for these minor issues.

- Located onKirály Street in the heart of Budapest's nightlife district, Wombat's provides excellent access to the city's main attractions and various public transport options.
Noise Levels
- The hostel isquietwith typical sounds of hostel life. However, there is no or little noise from traffic as therooms face an inner courtyard or a peaceful one-lane street.
