- They havedifferent meals every night, which is especially beneficial considering the high food inflation rate in Hungary.
What was the worst part of staying here?
- Althoughnothing was particularly terrible, the hotel was quite average andnothing stood out as great.
- It'ssituated at a busy intersection,lacks privacy curtainsfor the bed, and thecleanliness of the bathroomswas just okay.
Did I enjoy my stay here? Would I return?
- I preferMaverick Urban Lodgeover Avenue hostel, which is similarly cheap (without the free meals), but has better quality of life.

📝 Editor's note:The 10-bed "veiled" room I stayed in, along with its shared bathrooms, was not great. However,the rest of the hostel offers way nicer roomswith 4-8 or 12 beds, though they are more expensive. In this light, this hostel deserves a more favourable consideration than what I gave it here.

- Itscentral location in the 6th District near Oktogonoffers easy access to the nightlife, Andrássy Avenue and public transport options.
Noise Levels
- You can expect typical hostel noises from other guests. There'shigh street noisefrom the abusy avenue nearby, so earplugs are mandatory.
Check-in
- The front desk at this hostel is open24/7for your convenience, so you cancheck in anytime. You'll need to show your ID or passport at check-in and receive your passcard.
- With your passcard, you can access your room orsign up for events and toursat the reception.
Vibe & People
- Guests here enjoy acomplemenetary breakfastanddiscounted dinnerfor 3€ bar spend.
- You'll have the opportunity toshare casual meals with anyoneyou find interesting at the mess hall during the aformentioned meals.

Room
- Thestandard roomsare equipped with aveil in the middlefor a semblance of privacy,metal framed bedsanditem lockers.
Bed
- I didn't have much privacyin my 10-bed room since beds haveno curtains. However, I found out that there are better room options with beds that have curtains already installed.
- Overall, the bed itself was decent - it had alight and socket, but no item tray. It was wascleanand had asturdy metal frame.
Locker
- There was alockerthat was a suitable size for my laptop and backpack, but my luggage was too big to fit inside at the same time.
- Padlocks are availableat the reception for areasonable price.
Bathroom
- Thecleanliness and comfortof the two shared bathrooms in our living quarters weremediocre.
- One bathroom waspoorly designedwith the shower located next to the toilet, causing it to get wet. The other bathroom wasspaciousbutdidn't seem very hygienic.
- There were at least 20 people for two 1-person bathrooms, sopeople had to wait for their turn.
- The rooms without veils have better bathroom facilities!
Kitchen
- The main kitchen is perfectin all aspects. There wereadditional kitchenson each floor.
